Testimonial |

I bought these shoes because
they are a good brand, look great with jeans and
slacks, and are relatively comfortable. There aren't
many basic shoes like this out there right now. I've
been looking for almost a year. They are pretty true
to size. If anything maybe a smidgeon big, but I tried
a half size smaller and that was too small...
basically you have room for regular socks instead of
having to wear trouser socks. But even with trouser
socks they don't slip off the heel or anything. They
are pretty comfortable, especially considering the
height of the heel. I wore them for a full day, on my
feet the whole day, and the balls of my feet only
started to ache the last couple hours. Theta sandal.
At no time did I feel in real pain (some shoes that
don't have good support in the arch are torture
devices). And since they're not even broken in yet, I
consider that very good. I bought them in brown and
black and know I will put them to good use. I bought
the calf leather. It's shiny, but not too shiny and
will dull with use. They will need a bit of care to
give them long life, so I try to get a polish each
time I go to the airport. It's fast, cheap and does
the job. I would say my feet are average width (maybe
even a tidbit wide across the ball) and the width is
perfect. |
