This is my 4th pair of this shoe. It lasts me a full season of tennis. It is not a shoe you need to "break in". It feels comforable the first time it is worn. I don't ordinarily order shoes over the net, however my son is 14 years old and the net is the only place we can find size 16. I buy New Balance because I'm a diabetic and NB has the best fit out of the box I've experienced. This one was almost perfect. It did feel like it was a bit long at first and this was a concern as I can't afford blisters because of the diabetes. However, when I wore my speical socks, it felt great. 3 weeks later and all is great!! I can't recommend New Balance enough!!
