My job required a lot of walking
and very little time to sit down during an 8 hour
shift. The shoes are comfortable and an improvement
over the shoes I'd been wearing. Also I prefer the
black color which I'd been unable to find in my size
when I shopped locally. I have very cantankerous
feet. These shoes fit great and I can wear them all
day long without a problem. Because of that, I
purchased a second pair before they are no longer
made. Great wearing shoes for work or for dog walking.
I was very pleased with the order, it was for an 89
year old gentleman neighbor of mine, and he is hard to
please but he really liked this shoe. He said it was
very comfortable and wide enough, even with all the
bandages he has to wear on his feet and legs for
Cellulitis.He is very pleased
with the looks of them because he thinks black makes
his feet look smaller, he wears a size 13, 4E wide.
Comfortable and supportive! I have used the white
version for years and this is my third pair. It is
perfect. The only issue is with it the black version.
It has a faux leather tong that squeaks when I walk. I
suspect this will wear off with use. Glad to see that
New Balance brought this out of production number
back. Although the MX609 was said to replace the
MX608, it fell far short of the support and the the
superior fit of the MX608. Azelea Shoes are dependable
for true fit, particularly in wide shoes that I need.
The only problem I have had with NB shoes is the
Velcro strap shoes. The tongue keeps getting lost and
will not stay up, very annoying. If I stick to tie-up
shoes, NB's are great. |
